Located in the eastern side of Batam or about 20 kilometers from Sekupang ferry terminal, Sekilak Beach is a white sandy beach with big rocks, where a few big rocks sit on the sea. People usually do fishing from this "natural pier" or just sitting on it and enjoying the view of the sea. If you don't have your fishing rods with you, it is available here for rent.

How to get there:by own transportation or taxi from Nagoya (fare: Rp. 150,000 for less than 50 minute ride), from Batam Center (fare: Rp. 120,000 for about 30 minutes), and from Hang Nadim Airport is about Rp. 90,000 about 20 minutes away. Do remember that most taxis in Batam are not based on meters, so try to bargain for a cheaper fare. If you take taxi, make sure you ask the driver to wait for you. Please see Transportation Within City to get more information about taxi in Batam)
Remarks:Sekilak Beach will usually be crowded on weekends. There are no beach guards here. For more information about water sport activities, you may call Mrs. Sam on +62 857 65067340.
