GTS Jazz Live Performance: "Moonlight Swing Dancing"
GTS Jazz, a professional jazz and swings band in Phnom Penh will hold their live performance "Moonlight Swing Dancing", on 30 June 2012, starting from 8pm. The event will take place at Le Moon, a beautiful outdoor bar on the roof terrace of Amanjaya Hotel, Sisowath Quay. Admission is free. Moreover, GTS Jazz is no longer performing at Kwest/Le Moon on a weekly basis and at Sofitel Hotel, the performances will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. While GTS fronted by Euan Gray & Guests will perform every Sunday, from 8:30pm at Riverhouse Lounge (until end of August).
Fete De La Music 2012
This is a mini music festival with some of Phnom Penh's best bands, such as The Phnom Penh Hippies, Grass Snake Union, GTS Quintet, Sise'Swing, and The BossaNovas. The people of the Cambodia Kingdom will celebrate the 76th birthday of Her Royal Higness (HRH) Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk on 18 June 2012. Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk is the mother of King Norodom Sihamoni, the present King of Cambodia. To commemorate this big day, there will be many traditional and modern art performances, and of course, fireworks display in many places in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and the other cities of Cambodia.

Jazz fusion, a type of jazz music that will give you another color of jazz music. The Royal Plowing Ceremony
The Royal Plowing Ceremony is a Khmer Royal ceremony to welcome the beginning of the rice-growing season. Farmers start to prepare their agriculture things, such as sowing seeds, and so on. During ceremony, it is believed that the successful for the next harvest is depending on whether the Royal Oxen eats a lot of agricultural products or not. The Royal Plowing Ceremony will be held on 9 May 2012 at Mehru Square, to the north of the Royal Palace. So, Don’t miss it!
Visakha Bochea 2012
Visakha Bochea day (Vesak day) is a major religious day for Buddhist followers all over the world, as well as in Cambodia. Visakha Bochea in Cambodia is celebrated on 5 May 2012. Khmer people celebrate this religious day by going to pagodas and doing other interesting activities, like watching Cambodian monks march and so on. Khmer New Year Festival 2012
Khmer New Year 2012, which will be held for three days, starting from 13 April to 15 April 2012, usually will be fulfilled with various interesting activities throughout the cities in Cambodia, such as Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. This celebration is divided into 3 parts: Moha Sangkran on the first day, Wanabot on the second day and Leung Sakk on the third day. There will be many attractions, such as traditional games: Joal Chuung (throwing a type of long tail cushion), Bos Angkunh (bowling large fruit seeds, called ‘Angkunh’), and Teanh Proat (tug of war), traditional dances and musics performances, visiting pagodas, as well as decorated houses and buildings throughout the cities. GTS Jazz: Recreation of The Legendary Album by Miles Davis "Kind of Blue"
GTS Sextet, which consists of Olivier Marcy (trumpet), Stephan Routtier (tenor sax), Jimmy Baeck (alto sax), Gabi Faja (piano), Seb Adnot (double bass), and Toma Willen (drums), embarks on a journey of modal self-discovery, following the footprints of the great master of 'Cool Jazz', Miles Davis. Entering the season of love in February, GTS Jazz will comeback with a new formation! 30th ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2011 in Phnom Penh
Since its establishment, this international event aims to foster tourism industry in ten ASEAN countries (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam). The 2011’s forum theme is "A World of Wonders and Diversity". It was held on 15-21 January 2011 and covered programs, such as tourism conference, complimentary city tours, "sellers meet buyers" – "buyers meet sellers" sessions, "Indonesia Night", media briefing, and so forth. Held in November 2010 in Tonle Sap river in Phnom Penh. Hundreds of boats participated in this Khmer's New Year festival. Fireworks, carnival and many other public performances were organized as well.
