The 1st ITB International Choir Competition 2010 (FPS ITB)

Will be held from 29 July to 1 August 2010, the FPS ITB is a biennial choral festival inaugurated in 1968. Said as the biggest and the most awaited national choral event in Indonesia, most Indonesian choirs with international achievements are past winners of FPS ITB. FPS ITB is organized by Paduan Suara Mahasiswa ITB (PSM-ITB), Indonesia’s oldest university choir based in Institut Teknologi Bandung, a university choir with numerous national and international achievements. Bandung Festival 2009

Celebrating Bandung 200 years anniversary, this festival was held on 25 September 2009 for one month. Angklung parade, Jazz festival and so forth will be conducted in separated areas through out Bandung, for instance from 10-11 October 2009 there were a few events held along Jalan Braga. Manado City Anniversary

On every 14 July, the city of Manado celebrates its anniversary with cultural performances, such as Maengket dance, Katrili dance and Cakalele dance. These are also followed with performances of bamboo music, kolintang and traditional sports competition, traditional boat competition, and so forth. Do not miss the final selection night of the "Nyong and Nona Manado" (Miss and Mister Manado).

Tomohon International Choir Competition

An international choir competition that will be held in Tomohon from 18-21 August 2010. The choir competition will be held in conjuction with Tomohon Flower Festival, hence it is declared as a cultural event, as well as a spiritual event. Figura Festival

Managed by Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan (the Tourism and Culture Department) of Manado City, the Festive already become a yearly event. This is the time where the locals can express themselves, such as wearing traditional clothes or a group of senior citizens wearing the primary school uniforms. It is usually held at the end of January and participated by locals. In 2010, it was held on 1 February 2010 along Manado's Boulevard. For details please call +62 431 837674.

Water Festival

Will be held from around November 2010 in Tonle Sap river in Phnom Penh. Hundreds of boats will normally be participated in this Khmer's New Year festival. There will be fireworks, carnival and many other public performances as well.

Johnnie Walker Cambodian Open 2010

The 4th Johnnie Walker Cambodian Open will run from 9 to 12 December 2010. This US$ 300,000 Asian PGA Tour will be held at the Phokeethra Country Club. The tournament was started in 2007 and an American golfer, Brayn Saltus was the first winner of the tournament. The Legent of Angkor Wat

This was held from 16 December 2009 to 27 February 2010. A performance that describes audiences the exploration of Angkor Wat by a French naturalist, Alexandre Henri Mouhot, who discovered the temple in 1800s, as well as the great history of Angkor Wat itself.
