"Ngertakeun Bumi Lamba" (Welfare of The Earth) Ceremony at Mount Tangkuban Perahu
Ngertakeun Bumi Lamba (literally means: Welfare of The Earth) is an annual ceremony to be held at Mount Tangkuban Perahu in order to thank the earth. Some indigenous representatives and spiritualists from all over Indonesia will attend and do some rituals, like sacrificing offerings, chanting, playing traditional music, and so on. The event is divided into two parts. The first part is the pre event: "Patumpekan" Batu Satangtung (Lingga Yhoni) ceremony which will be held on 23 June 2012, starting from 9am, at Babakan Siliwang City Forest, Bandung. While the main event: "Ngertakeun Bumi Lamba" ceremony will be run on 24 June 2012, from 8am, at Ratu Crater - Upas Crater, Mount Tangkuban Perahu, Bandung. The admission fee of main event is free if you arrive at Tangkuban Perahu before 9am. It is suggested to dress up appropriately since it is a traditional ceremony. Don't miss it!
BOOM 2012
Boom 2012 will be held on 22 June 2012 at GOR C-TRA Arena, Jalan Cikutra Bandung, starting from 12pm. The event is organized by Youth Entrepreneur Successful Community and consists of music and dance performances. Malliq and D?Essentials (Indonesian group band), Raisa (Indonesian singer), The SIGIT (Indonesian group band), and Saung Angklung Udjo are some of the special guests of this event. "Still Building : Contemporary Arts from Singapore"
Selasar Sunaryo Art Space in collaboration with Valentine Willie Fine Art (Singapore) will hold a 3-week art expo "Still Building : Contemporary Arts from Singapore", starting from 27 May to 15 June 2012 at Selasar Sunaryo Art Space Bandung (SSAS). The opening ceremony will be held on 27 May 2012 at Amphitheater SSAS Bandung, from 4pm till end. Singapore ambassador for Indonesia will also be attending the event. Apart from exhibition, there will be Artist Talk on 28 May 2012 at ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology) and screening video on 2-3 June 2012 at Bale Handap SSAS. "Still Building : Contemporary Arts from Singapore" will exhibit the work of arts of 20 Singaporean great artists, such as Frayn Yong, Tay Wei Leng, Hong Sek Chern, Godwin Koay, Heman Chong, Lucy Davis, and so on. Salamander Big Band Mid Year Concert 2012: "Buble Night"

This time they will work together with Salamander Big Band for "Salamander Big Band Mid Year Concert 2012: Buble Night". Many singers will be performing at this concert, such as Imelda Rosalin, Gail Satiawaki, Nenden Syntawati feat Iwan Abdie (member of Bali Lounge), and Devy Ferdianto as the conductor. "Road to Kampung Kreatif 2012"
Bandung CreACTive organizes an event "Road to Kampung Kreatif 2012" which will give you more information and visualization about traditional cultures of West Java or "Sundanese cultures". L'Immédiat
Sekolah Tinggi Seni Indonesia (STSI) Bandung and Camille Boitel will held a contemporary circus show named "L'Immédiat".
