Saluang

Saluang is a kind of traditional flute of Minangkabau – made from bamboo that has 4 holes to control the pitch. Saluang can be played solo or to accompany a poetry singer.

Dendang

Almost similar to Saluang, Dendang is also made from bamboo and has holes to control the pitch. It is played by men and performed in wedding party that can last until late night.
