Danau Kembar (Twin Lake) / Danau Diatas dan Dibawah
After about two hours journey from Padang, not far from Solok, there are two beautiful lakes (“danau”) named “Diatas” and “Dibawah” or also known as “Kembar Lake”. “Danau Diatas” covers an area of 17.2 square kilometers with a depth of 44 meters, while “Danau Dibawah” measures 16.9 square kilometers with a depth of 309 meters. The panoramic view from these two lakes is absolutely stunning with pleasant temperatures, around 18° to 20° Celsius.
