There are plenty of choices of restaurants for foreign visitors in Phnom Penh from fine dining to local street food stall standards (Toup). Many restaurants and cafés along Sisowath Quay offer open air dining and mostly they sell alcoholic beverages, at least beers.
Small restaurants and cafés usually accept only cash payment. Tipping is generally not required. Some top end restaurants may apply service charges.

As a reference a bottle of mineral water costs around 2000 Riel, a can of coke costs around US$ 1, a can of beer around 5000 Riel (about $ 1.25) and a pack of Marlboro costs around 5000 Riel. However, these prices really depend on where you get them. In a nice restaurant, a beer can be as pricey as $ 2 per can. Cambodian currency exchange.
